While I have a hard time breaking into the schmup genre proper, I did have a good deal of fun with Danmaku Unlimited 3. I played a ton of this on mobile, which works mysteriously well for a touch-based system. The whole thing is incredibly polished, and the mechanics are interesting and work well. I do find it quite challenging, yet accessible. The price point is good, too.

At this price point it's hard not to recommend it, but there's a lot -better- bullet hell games out there... Danmaku unlimited as a series is great. Don't get me wrong. It really is. But it suffers the curse of being put in with a field on Steam that is made up of even greater company.
