There are 'indie games', and then there are 'basement-homebrew-proof-of-concept-school-project-indie-games'. Don't get me wrong - both can be awesome. I think this game has a lot of good intentions, I think it has a lot of positives, I think the developers had the right idea. But right now (as of the time of this writing) as it is, I feel like it's a not a product ready to be rolled out to the public. I think it has a great visual style, it brings me right back to old 90s DOS top-down shooters, this is what appealed to me the most. This is the games most redeeming...

The game looks good for a retro wannabe top down shooter. Though honestly, I am not sure if these graphics qualify as retro anymore, since there are more "Retro" game releases than there are eye melting graphical games. It's pretty much "Modern graphics" now, and the epic graphics are almost Retro in a way....Anyway! That's beside the point, and I am rambling. As I said, the game looks good, and is a top down...

Neon Hardcorps is yet another unpolished/unfinished game i can't recommend. You could beat whole campaign in 20-40 minutes (depending on your skill). Graphic/visual is just "so-so". Gameplay quality isn't that different from average flash game with genre top-down shooter/shoot em up from 10-15 years ago. I also hate the fact when you respawn, you only get pistol which make game more difficult and less fun.

Beat the game in 1.3 Hours, Here's the breakdown of that play through... First .1 hours of gameplay to beat the campaign. Followed by another .07 Hour playthrough. Followed by 1.13 hours trying to find the rest of the game... Well there isn't one. this .15 cent game comes crammed packed with a whopping .15 cents worth of content. This game is garbage - it is short, nothing works as it should. For example, if you pick up weapon, it wont work correctly until it is not changed with Q key. It is possible to have Laser, which shoot as fast as rifle. There are 3 characters, not 6 as mentioned in the description. Only difference between them are skills. Upgrade system does not work correctly - instead of spending cash, it is added to your balance....

The game is barely working, which is horrible. It completely crashed to windows three times. There also seems to be some slow down here. And yeah, overall it honestly just feels broken. It just clearly needs some additional polishing. But that polishing will probably never happen. Neon Hardcorps came out in 2016. Long ago. So, the last update happened in 2016 as well. There aren't any signs of it ever getting...
