Well worth $1.99, a bit maudlin, but for anyone who doesn't understand what a person with dementia goes through, this would be an excellent intro. This is totally not my genre, but I picked it up for the topic. Not my art-style. Not my choice of general sentiment. But it's so profoundly praiseworthy for the natural characterization of the main character. Hands down the best first person portrayal of dementia...

Short but very sympathic Visual novel. The story & graphics are fine-okay (2- 3+ school note). For visual novel fans i give for this price 78 %, for achievement hunters i give 82 (4 easy story achievements, could have MORE of them, but better than 0). Thx 4 reading &hopefully you enjoy the game too.

This little VN is amazing. Last time I cried this hard was when I played “A Bird Story”, but I think that “Forgotten, Not Lost” takes the prize. My grandmother suffers from Alzheimer, and learning how the MC of this game sees and remembers the world around him… It’s painful in a way. A quite accurate description of this terrible illness. ∞/10, would cry again. I’m really enjoying all the works from these developers,...

Too many people dismiss video games as “mindless entertainment” and assume they’re all for kids. But then games like Forgotten, Not Lost - A Kinetic Novel are released showing how the medium can be used to deliver strong stories. Despite only being ~90 minutes long, this visual novel is legitimately sad. Strangely enough it didn't hit me emotionally until after I had finished and gave it some thought, about how lonely and powerless the main character must have felt while dealing with this terrible affliction. One day, this story could be any of ours, and that is truly depressing.

This is a visual novel game with a nice story and relaxing music. It can be completed within 30 minutes. Buy it when it is on sale though. All the achievements are easy to get too.

A kinetic novel, as the title says.. that means, a visual novel in which you somehow aren't asked to make decisions in order to get a particular ending or different artworks and game progresses. Of course, games like these require beautiful graphics and most of all a great plot, and this one is by all means good :) Maybe it costs a little too much starting at 2€, but you can find it on sale often like I'm sure I did...

A short visual novel, that invites you to a sad story about alzheimer's. One of my grandparents died from it at some point so I can relate how tragic it is. Can recommend if you like visual novels in general and don't mind to bring some tissues for this one.
