2D indie platformer where you explore ruined locations, fight enemies, and unlock new abilities to progress ✅Good soundtrack ✅Infinite lives (respawn at the beginning of the level) ✅Ability to continue from the last unlocked level after restarting the game ❌No options (e.g., windowed mode) ❌Poorly done retro graphics ❌Low enemy variety ❌Dangerous obstacles appear as background elements ❌The gun barrel counts...

It's an extremely "bleh" game that doesn't serve much of any purpose. You're in the dark most of the time and the goal of each stage isn't clear so expect to just fumble around until you figure it out. When you pick up your gun you fight squares which are the only enemy in the game. Reach the exit and then you get to a note that says 'they didn't listen' which is the end of the game and you get booted back to the...

Feels like something between a demo stage asset flip in a decades-old GameMaker competitor (Construct 2, in this case), and an(other) incomprehensible side scroller with no native controller support, no Steam integration, no tutorial, and no reason to exist. This doesn’t exactly sing after a JoyToKey mapping, so don’t bother. In fact, go outside and look at a tree. Beat Liveza once, shame on you; beat Liveza...

Just a terrible platformer. Far better ones you can get on steam than this.

As I'm typing this, this game has 34 reviews, but 33 of which are positive, and 2 of which are actually viewable, weird. I guess the rest are in a different language. Normally i don't review a game until I beat it, or until I've spent enough time with it, but this state of "reviews" made me decide to review it early. I may change my mind as I play more. What it is: An artsy platformer-gunner. The Good: +It is...

Quick Note I do believe that this game is botted to get good reviews. As of writing this review there are 50 reviews and I can only view 4 of them, 1 positive and 3 negative. When apparently there are 45 positive and 5 negative. Keep this in mind for this game. Introduction Liveza: Death of the Earth is a platformer/gunner game that tries to releate back to the older more retro platformers like Super Mario Bros...

Liveza is a game that has failed to learn from the mistakes of its predecessors while at the same time suffers from a lack of consistency between tone and design. Hardcore platformer fans may appreciate the goals the game set out to achieve however Liveza ultimately presents an unsatisfying experience.

Liveza: Death of Earth is a poor 2D shooter/platformer. The core idea is sound, but the execution is sloppy on many levels. In this oversaturated gaming market, especially when it comes to 2D platformers, I just don’t think this game is worth your time. Positive: • I was not particularly fond of the music but it was nice that the music track switches to something more exciting the moment you fix your gun....

The game description tells me more about the game then the game itself. You are thrown into the game not knowing nothing, and you pretty much collect useless items that i still have no clue what to do with. Game is challenging but thats just because of the controls and how the monster move towards you in all directions. I think the devs knew what they wanted to do with the game, but the game itself feels too rushed...

The visual is rather nice and control is OK, but i don't find this game fun and there are some things which infuriate me, - It's tricky to identify which environment object could cause damage. - It's hard to know which environment object could be walked upon. - While each level isn't too long, lack of checkpoint and instant death if fall into void is rather annoying. - Awkward control during combat and you only can...
