Condemned is a masterpiece. Imagine the F.E.A.R. style atmosphere (creepy) with slower paced, melee focussed combat. Great visuals (for its time), great story, great sounds, great everything. Buy it.

This is just a classic horror game that's unique to its own the same way Bioshock, FEAR, and Silent Hill were. Each chapter in the game has a different atmosphere of creepiness that will disturb you. Even the combat system seems morbid in which you are limited to using environmental debris that is considered beyond a last resort to defend yourself from your enemies. With each passing year this game continues to slip further and further into obscurity, which is unfortunate because it’s filled with more suspense and surprises than any of the flavor of the month indie horror games people lap up.
