TLDR: No, just no. I grabbed this in a bundle and installed expecting a basic mahjong game with a bit of a story glommed on and maybe some light RPG elements, something like a mahjong version of Regency Solitaire or Chef Solitaire. It is definitely a mahjong game with a bit of story, if you consider the character's proceeding from a monk to a couple more monks to her true love and hearing a couple stanzas of poetry...

It is an ok-ish mahjong game. To get it to work on Linux I had to use Proton version 4.11-12. But it is very likely it works fine again from version 6 on.

You can easily find better and free mahjong games online. This one is too easy (and you literally can't lose), has rather bland looking mahjong pieces and generally it's just not worth playing. If you want decently looking and with better gameplay mahjong games, then there are better ones on Steam. Do not bother with this one.

Mahjong Destiny where you play as a maiden who's trying to find love by travelling around playing Mahjong. Compared to all the other Mahjong games I've played from EnsenaSoft, this one is slightly better, since you have some sort of story line, but there's not much to it. EnsenaSoft made a couple of Mahjong games. Unfortunately, they are pretty much the same. And I've tried four of them so far, so trust me. In the reviews: People seem to hate on 'em all. And I get it, this wasn't perfect by any means. But for a bored player, It is just good enough. I can see myself playing this in my retirement. Perhaps it was a bit 'overpriced' for its quality. But there's nothing wrong with this...

This is a cute game. The puzzles get more challenging as you go on, but it would be perfect for beginners to mahjong and the young. the story behind the game is a love tale, punctuated by poetry. Note: for those who are a bit more experienced with mahjong it can get a bit tedious...
