Can't believe a 30 year old point-and-click still slaps this hard. Pixel art still looks great, story sucked me right in, no notes. If you're even a little curious about old school adventure games, this is the one to start with.

I'm really glad to see this on Steam, and it's certainly a bonafide classic. Sadly, DOSBox is terrible, especially on a Windows 11 system. I need to dust off my oldest laptop and see if I can finish this there.

The story was gripping and the graphics, which could be seen as outdated, were much to my tatse. Yes, it is a little old, but the old style was very nice to look at and reminded me of playing Theme Hospital. The darker, supernatural aspects and the broke charcter who can be a bit of a jerk nicely reminded me of some of the older Constantine comics, so should defintley be given a chance if that's your sort of thing....

This game in all time classic for a reason. It's so incredibly difficult to play but it's also so beautiful and there's so much to discover that it doesn't take away from how fun it is. I always recommend this game. All-time favorite.

It's back! The best version of the game, if you played the original. So to explain, there's kind of 3 versions of this game. For the original 1993 release, it was put out on floppy disks (ask your parents). Just a fantastic adventure game. Well worth experiencing. Sadly This version and the GOG version suffer from audio popping during all the speech. Spent quite a long time trying to fix it, to no avail. This makes it quite a grim experience unless you turn off all the speech, which is a lot of the appeal.
