CompareNimbus is a unique combination of racing & puzzling. The player controls a craft with no means of directly propelling itself and needs to use whatever is scattered around the levels to acquire thrust and reach the goal. Traverse a world map with several distinct islands in order to recover your lost love.

Nimbus is a lot of fun and very pretty, and it's basically just as challenging as you want it to be. There are a lot of optional levels, you can configure how you want the checkpoints to work, and your time records don't unlock any content or anything so it doesn't matter if you don't care about trying to accomplish them. Truly an amazing game. It is extremely fun and addicting. The game seems simple at first but with every added obstacle the ame become more and more complex. The satisfaction of completing a level you first thought impossible is amazing. I highly reccomend this game to anyone who enjoys this genre of games.

Its most likely the same broom named "Nimbus 2000" series used in quidditch from harry potter volume that gave developers the idea and also the name. A unique and polished experience. Somewhat of a technical platformer, but can be as relaxed as you want it to be. Very high potential for score chasing and precision play for those who want that, and infinite retries and checkpoints for those who don't. Fun if occasionally infuriating physics-based puzzle platformer. Play with inertia, balls, portals, trampolines, propellers… The glide mechanic gives a pleasant, relaxing slow down at the apex of your trajectory, before you drop, dive and attempt to keep your momentum, avoiding collisions on the way. I guess this is a bit of a puzzle racing type of game. You control a ship and you have to bounce off of panels or use cannons to shoot yourself up. Then you guide your ship across the levels while avoiding things like spikes and crashing down. It starts off pretty easy but it gets difficult quickly. Nimbus gets a lot of mileage out of its simple game mechanics. Despite the limited number of inputs, it can be challenging at first to get your head around controlling your ship as its orientation changes. The first levels do a good job of easing you in, but ultimately i had to struggle for a while with right and left on the D-pad representing clockwise and counter-clockwise before it started to click in my brain....
