CompareWhat could be better than relaxing in nature? Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city in a small cottage. Spending time reading books by the fireplace. But one night, strange voices began to echo from deep within the basement.

This game is prettier to look at than a large number of Steam indie horror games. It also seems to run very smoothly, when it decides to run. I had numerous crashes at random times, but nothing that like, locked up my PC. My main gripe with this game is that it seems like such a good game... but why didn't the Dev take the time to get someone who actually reads and writes English to edit the games text? I think I...

Horror game in which you explore a haunted house, discover a mysterious book and try to survive terrifying events ✅At times, the atmosphere is very dark in certain places (e.g. the basement), you can feel the tension and unease ✅Two genuinely scary moments ✅The price is acceptable (I wouldn’t pay a dollar more for this game) ❌Empty rooms ❌Poorly executed graphics with low-quality textures (especially the walls and...

Want a badly translated rip-off of Phobia 1.5 that isn't free, has saving and respawn issues and that will most likely crash on loading screens? Then this is the game for you. Play Phobia 1.5 instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cl4vvdVlvQ

Out of the seven-title collection that GDNomad has amassed onto Steam in the last three years, Wooden House has to be the worst yet. Released on September 5, 2016, it is a nearly identical, yet condensed, clone to that of White Mirror (released on January 27, 2016). Wooden House is a shameless asset flip that's even more expensive than its predecessor, all the while delivering an even more shallow story in a runtime...

Introduction I have played 2 of this developer's previous games, those 2 being White Mirror and The Lost Souls, I believed that White Mirror had some good elements going for it but was let down by too many flaws and I feel like, with The Lost Souls, no effort had been made to make it enjoyable. And now we're here with Wooden House, the next horror game by developer GDNomad, and I have to say, this is probably his...

GD Nomad the developer ... is a vury Gud speeller wwho dus not nneed spill chequer. He also has no doubt worked harder than a Nigerian Scam artist in creating this barf nugget, somehow finding time between his normal jobs of being an eternal self-employed wine tester. The story is that some guy has bought a house without ever looking at it. Unfortunately for him every door is locked and as soon as he opens one, he...

It's not the worst thing I have ever played, honestly it was ok. It ran ok for me at least and mouse sensitivity was fine (unlike many games from this type which just completely ruin my mouse sense) and graphics were acceptable but 3 Dollars/Euros is too much for it since the game is literally 20 mins long and it does little to explain the story... This feels more like a prototype than an actual game. So lets sum it...

Character movement is like carrying a 500lbs man on your back, as when the game prompts you to run, there literally is no run. Being chased by the monster is as exciting as listening to an old woman talk about knitting. For a game which relies so heavily on text, someone with a proper command of the english language should have been involved with the input in this game. Trying to understand the notes made it very...

GDNomad strikes yet again, with another really bad horror game. Story: You play as a man who wants to get away from every day life and decides to take a retreat to their new home, but after a night there you notice there's some spooky things going on and that's where the story kicks off. The story is atrocious and is insanely hard to follow and you barely know what's going on, because of the most notorious staple...

The first little piggy built his house out of straw. The second little piggy built his house out of wood. You are the second pig. You never escaped the big bad wolf. These things aren't true about this game, but it would have made for a better one. Game takes 10 minutes to play. Puzzles aren't hard. Scavenger hunt is quick and easy. Monster and sounds aren't scary. Interior design is simple. Story and ending is...
