If you are using Virtual Desktop / Steam Link app and Quest 2, Be warned that the game doesn't work Game crashes instantly upon launch and I have tried everything but I can't get it to work. Some page suggested to use Oculus App or something like that, but I can't recommend a game that doesn't work natively on SteamVR without other apps.

So far it opens without issue for me, unlike other people. Doing this tedious game in VR is a lot easier than using mouse and keyboard/controller. Edit: SO MUCH EASIER WITH VR, I had no crash problems whatsoever. I highly recommend getting this on sale, I paid 4 dollars during the summer sale.

from playing the original game to coming and playing the vr version, they are both very buggy, but that is what makes surgeon simulator fun

It worked well several months but now, every time I try to play : "The game crashed. The crash report folder named "2026-08-03_173310" next to game executable It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!" So, unplayable !

its a very fun game but also a very short one, but i enjoy the experience 7/10

Game doesn't even work, VR controls are trash, cant even get through more than the first patient and the first procedure because VR controls wont let you flip the page to the next patient profile. Not every polished, graphics are really cartoon like, and doesn't even go through with closing the patient up before mission complete crap pops up and puts you back in the office. Even after years of being released this game still has absolutely 0 competition in what it offers lol, Cheers to Bossa Studio.
