This is a decent casual chess game with 4 difficulty settings and a few board variations. Apart from an epic looking medieval chess board and relaxing soundtrack, there wasn't much more that stood out to me in this chess game. I got this on sale at 70% off. It is just a very simple chess game that works. If you don't have a Chess game then this is worth it. I didn't and haven't played Chess on the computer since Yahoo chat was popular 18 years ago. I can't compare this to anything up to date. If you want to play against a computer in a fast game than Chess Knight 2 does it. By fast, I mean easy to understand, launch and play your 1st game...

TERRIBLE game. Poor AI bad graphics terrible sounds CONSTANTLY CRASHING TO DESCTOP -prety much in every second game Also AI tands to freeze and you have to wait forever for next move. Don't buy it. Except you are crazy game collector you simply need that +1 in your library.

No originality. Stupid AI. Terrible graphics. Don't buy this; you will regret it. Beat all difficulties on first try under a cumulative 30 minutes. It's a poor excuse to make a game that is for sale. Maybe good as a school project but nothing more. There are many free chess games online that have doesn't require download, have standard pieces in 3D with higher quality graphics and better AI. It is an okish chess game, but don't expect anything mindblowing. Works fine on Linux with Proton (Proton 4.11-7).

Very nice music and a decent look and feel, but not worth 5 bucks. The game lacks depth, only has 3 chess sets, and doesn't support online multiplayer. I also don't understand why in god's name would you put the credits on a board and continually rotate it, making it impossible to read.

All the colors just blend which makes it hard to see what you are doing. Had a move where I could take a bishop and it wouldn't let me take it even though it wouldn't put me in check and wouldn't have cause any other issues. It just refused to allow the move which was probably just a glitch but an annoying one. You can change the pieces to make it somewhat easier to see but the background and board still blend....

There's no online multiplayer, only local. As far as the difficulty, it's too easy. The graphics are what make this go from regular chess to Chess Knight 2 but they aren't very aesthetic. Soundtracks boring. 1/10 Stalemates
