Compare2048AD - the year in which humanity was faced with bio-terrorism. Without a doubt the ugliest boomer shooter i've seen yet. The entire screen just looks like green barf and it features no map to help you navigate.

I hate to complain about a game that costs 2$, but this really isn't good. The game gives me a headache because it's trying too hard to be old-school to the point that it barely even has options (you can't change controls or resolution). How to Not Make a Retro Shooter: The Video Game. aka How to Not Combine Wolfenstein 3D and First Two Doom Games: The Video Game. Merger 3D is a retro FPS that appears to be trying to combine Wolfenstein 3D-style engine with fast gameplay in style of Doom 1 and 2. The result is not as good as someone would expect upon reading something along the lines of "Wolf3D x Doom". The problems start on the very first level....

Classic Doom clone with atrocious level design and bad controls. First of all you need to fix mouse input to make it somewhat playable. Secondly, navigating through the map is confusing - no minimap. Third, music is good, sound effects are not. Fourth, saving partially works... This game seriously needs some revision after that it would be not that bad.

Visally this game captures what made old PC games like Catacombs 3d charming. However use of the mouse is jittery and terrible. Also the enemies have no pathfinding ability so there is no way to agro a large mob, drop behind a corner and get them one by one like you could in Wolfenstein 3d. I love what they were trying to do. I tried to like this game. They just did not do a good job.

Despite the mostly negative reviews I checked out the game since it's just 10 megs but that FOV of 30 is so miniscule I couldn't stomach playing more than minute or two to find out how bad the game is firsthand. Avoid, waste of time.

Unplayable mess, full of Wallhack enemies also no minimap in the game I´d rather play Daikatana than this
