It's a fine game. Preposterous and awkward, poorly written. But it's fun, and that's what counts. I played my money's worth today alone, let alone lifetime hours. Simple canyon defense game. I enjoyed it. PS: On sale for 79 cents at time of review, $5 regularly. Worth waiting for a sale if you're into that.

TD is my thing. The game has its faults, but it's a fun, more traditional kind of Tower Defense game. There's a few bugs here and there but nothing you can't live with. The UI could do with a lot of work to make it more understandable. Grab it when it's on special. Got through both modes of the whole thing in 14 hours.

Sorry to see Defense of Greece getting so many negative reviews since it is one of my favorite tower defense games. Mediocre TD that's brought down by a between-levels upgrade system that doesn't make much sense. You collect a bunch of pieces/shapes that you can then slot into your weapons, or you can upgrade those pieces first... somehow. Can't quite figure out how. The TD itself is decent, basic, on the easy side with harsh sound effects and bland graphics. It's not terrible, just really plain. One of those easy casual games...

At first I was kind of exited.. But the I started to find the bugs... It has potential, it reminds me in some ways of PixelJunk Monsters, which is my favourite tower defense game ever. I love a good Tower Defense game, and this is a fun game, but the devs may have gone too far trying to make this game just a bit different than the normal TD games. I do however appreciate it when devs "think outside the box" but I still have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing when it comes to improving my weapons.
