CompareDuke of Alpha Centuri is a space shooter with amazing graphics. The main goal of our game is to have a lot of fun while blowing up hordes of different types of enemies. Engage in boss fights, upgrade your ship and ship systems until you are able to show off in an endless mode.

Very short and repetitive game, the achievements are for doing almost every action in the game so nothing too hard. It's definitely not worth 30€. If you want an easy 100% go for It, but other than that stay away.

Reminds me of 'ye olden' times, when I played games like this on my C64, although those were harder :) Definitely not worth its current full price (~30EUR), I'd recommend it on a 80% discount (at least). My playtime is what it took me to 100% it, playing on medium, which is too easy - at later levels I stopped moving, still won...

6/10 - An easy, little shoot 'em up with skill system.

Look - I knew what kind of monster Duke of Alpha Centauri would be before I even booted it up. I knew it wasn’t aiming to give me the time of my life – that it was using other means and devices to hopefully scavenge some money out of those unfortunate enough to be drawn into its web. Yet, like the car wreck you drive past on your way to work, it turned out it was just too hard to look away from and ignore. And, with...

This is a decent game, especially for the price (I got it on sale for 59 cents). The music is well done if you like the sort of club music style. The achievements are easy to get. The game offers a couple hours of game play with decent controls and pretty sound effects. The game isn't perfect. Early on the loading screens are longer than the levels. The asteroids are much weaker graphically than everything else...

"Duke of Alpha Centauri" is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial shovelware pushers, SA Industry. These guys do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into cheap nasty shovelware game bundles as cash grabs. Trying...

I recommend this if it is on sale. Currently it's on sale for only 49p which is well worth it. 49p for a addictive shoot'em up. I've managed to 100% perfect this in under 3 hours getting all the achievements. No replay value. Not worth the full price. Only get if on sale.

Duke of Alpha Centauri is a space shoot 'em up that is easy to play but get's progressively harder as you progress through the planet systems. The attacks come as sorties and you must destroy a set number of enemy vehicles in various of realtime stages. Your ship is equipped with shields and a hardened hull so you can take some abuse from the incoming fire and obstacles (with a repair button). Some of your enemies...

This is a simple concept bullet hell game. I like it. It does have a quirk, where you sometimes cannot get to the level selection screen, but it is minor in comparison to how fun the game is. It isn't hard, even on the highest levels, if you upgrade your weapons and ship, but it still requires some hand-eye coordination. 7.5 / 10 in a bundle. 5/10 at full retail.

A fun and simple bullet hell game, it's not overwhelming. Casual bullet hell fans can enjoy this game without frustration. There's 20 levels plus and endless mode, the upgrade system is very easy to understand, but I kind of think most upgrades were overpowered, but that makes getting all the achievements easy if that's your thing. The only real problem is that it's overpriced for what it has to offer, so I...
