First, Left Click > Options >controller >Disable Steam Input to get your controller to work. Anyway, for like 4 bucks this game is... sorta okay. It's not a diamond in the rough or anything, but it is what it sets out to be. That said, it's not even really worth it. Overall, it was a good game. The first boss scared me real good tho. The achievements are fairly easy and ''rare'' since only a short amount of people played the game but I DID and i am happy about it. I recommend!

I played this retro game for a break between bigger games. I wasn't expecting anything but this game turned out to be not only playable, but made me want to beat it (still trying), the reason is the movement is not lagging, and most enemy can be deal with by one fist so offers a nice 1-hit kill feeling, and the character can do jab and kick. Fun little simple best em up with some light rpg elements, multiple endings. There's a town you can buy health, upgrade your character, change your look etc with the currency and xp you earn. This game tries to be a mishmash of a platformer and beat em up and unfortunately just fails at both. Some of the art is cool in a retro way but the gameplay itself is too simple and oftentimes constipated that you never get a sense of a groove or momentum in the stages. Not great by any metric, but I expected much worse, as I had noticed this game clearly uses the same engine as SEEP Universe and even recycles some graphics from there. A fun little ninja action game from Seep. While combat is fairly basic (punch and kick for the man, kunai thrown for the woman), it works well with the enemies and and especially bosses. Cute aesthetic with solid sprite work and pixel art. 2-3 hours of fun to be had, less if you ignore going for upgrades. Worth a play.
