Really really good and fun game, honestly better than Town of Salem, sadly its dead now, really hope we can get a comeback for this one, until then I have to recommend not buying it

After playing this game for 400 hours I can't recommend it anymore. A few reasons are: 1) The community itself. 2) Their stupid punishment system. So many times I saw people getting banned/punished because they outed their role when they had an afk (Mastermind for example) and there was no point of winning the game. You literally have to waste everyone's time instead of being able to start a new round which might...

I was a hard sell, since I played Town of Salem and I was very skeptical this would be worth the money. But I can honestly say this game is a much better version of Town of Salem. Unlike Town of Salem there are no 'dead weight' roles who have nothing to do every day/night. Lets compare Town of Salems 'Jester' to Throne of Lies' 'Fool'. They have the exact same win condition, they want to be executed during the day....

The game is fun but I can't, in good faith, recommend it. Throne of Lies went free to play December 18th 2020, I've seen some people criticising this decision and, particularly, the way this was implemented. Eventually, developer's answer was to lock the thread claiming that they had "another free to play thread already"; when I looked for it, I couldn't find any; the free to play announcement thread is locked due...
