I'm giving this game a negative review for the way it updates, I don't understand why they have the need to update the game through maniaplanet which is 100 times slower than steam... Out of all four Trackmania 2 Titles, this one is special and odd. I can see why some people do not like it. It's different to the other titles in several ways: - The on-road handling is very direct and agile, a huge contrast to the other titles. It is awful. The controls are too sensitive in this iteration of Trackmania. It isn't unplayable, but it is certainly not fun. The bigger issue is "Mania Planet." It simply doesn't work. I can't download anything thru the Maniaplanet Interface, even stuff I have purchased thru Steam. Instead to play this or Stadium, Valley, Canyon or Shootmania you have to first go and download Mania Planet and then you have to find...

So this is my first time EVER playing a Trackmania game and I have to say I am VERY impressed! This game is not only a BLAST to play, but the music is pretty awesome as well. Visually a really nice Environment. Just be aware if you're buying it for Multiplayer that there are more Servers than Players and you only have lots of people playing when it's in featured in the main channel. Most people hate it for how the car controls on wood but tbh the whole trick is know where you want you want to turn, as changing directions to quickly will cause you to slither. This is definitely one of the best expansions and environments out of all the Trackmania DLC's. Unlike Stadium or Canyon, Lagoon has faster, more precise and tight driving than the other environments, but then all of a sudden this stops being the case as the grass and wood offer a completely different experience than the regular tracks which is welcome.
