Played this game as a young child but never got any further than the snake which is still in the first act out of three. Now I am replaying it with my girlfriend and we look up the solutions when we're really stuck somewhere. It is a very nice experience. The voice acting and the writing is great, the pixel artwork too. This game has so much charm and this Steam version works flawlessly on my Windows 11 notebook.

A couple of years ago I played Monkey Island 1 & 2 for the first time and ended up enjoying this style of Lucas Arts adventure game having never really played them before. This gave me that same feeling and made me feel nostalgic for something I never experienced. Cool original Indiana Jones story.

It was a fun, little adventure game. The voice acting was nice and even though some of the puzzles were a bit annoying towards the end, I still mostly enjoyed my time with it. The game ran okay natively but I ended up switching to ScummVM which took a little extra work in getting Steam to continue to track its hours, but I found an online forum detailing a launch command that worked. GAMEPLAY Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is a good point and click game, and a cartoony adventure of Indiana Jones. Almost all the objects are sitting in plain sight yet you need to discover the creative, non-sensical ways that the game has you combine items with your environment to escape situations. Why so much praise? Puzzles are weak, controls are wonky and the balloon and u-boat bits serve no purpose other than to frustrate the player.
