It's not a bad game, but there is also nothing to recommend here. There is no single-player campaign, just a training level. It is an online multiplayer game for one-on-one matches, but multiplayer is dead. I normally think people are being silly when they say this, but I legitimately feel like the computer is programmed to know more than it's supposed to in this game. Playing the assassins feels impossible because the knights will go out of their way to go arrest a "random" citizen (really one of my assassins) who literally has not moved the entire game. It was fun as a short strategy game. It could be much better. Almost no replay value due to comments already made. No campaign. AI is broken. No one is online to play. For pass and play, you have to hide your screen between turns. Also annoying you have to sign up for an account for online features that don't exist.

A stones throw away from being an absolute gem of a game. With the addition of a few more maps and some more flexibility in unit starting locations (I.E. let players have some choice) this game would have a lot more replayability.

Multiplayer lobby doesnt have option to make a private game and game autostarts when someone joins so you have to hope your friend is the first to try to join your game. Luckily there is almost no one playing so its not that hard to get your friend in. One of the two maps glitched out the same way for me in both the games i played on it. The game is horribly unbalanced. It's almost impossible to win as the King. In addition to that, the AI cheats. And yet, even if they randomly arrest an assassin in the first round every other game, that's not enough to win when AI plays the King. Maybe this is fun against another player? I'm not sure I want to try any more.

I can see how this would work as a board game. The problem is that this is essentially a bluffing game, where the way you can guess which peasants are the assassins is through the facial expression of the people moving the peasants. But that doesn't really translate to a video game at all.

Terrible game. Single player, the AI thoroughly cheats as both assassin or king. Multiplayer is dead and bugged.
