Although the screen shots make it look like you're preforming sweeping Blitzkrieg Tactics, normal play is slow and tedious. Scouting, sniping, and arty skills are required to have a high scoring game. Methodical slow step by step advances are what works. You rush, you die. Batus Mod is a must. Google it. The first two Sudden Strike games are fantastic and I can't recommend them enough - but this one isn't. It's slow, clunky and ugly (I know that the game is from 2007 but Soldiers: Heroes of World War II was released in 2004 - which looks better and plays better) and isn't worth your money. omg, i cant believe i almost never bought this game with all the bad reviews, works perfectly on windows10 with an nvidia 1920x1080 resolution. is like a real war going on in this one, unlike the avarege sudden strike 4 you cant just group all your troops together and throw them at the enemy for victory, you gotta plan your attack. all the bad reviews must be coming from console players which this game is not ment...

Great, so happy to get this "alltime-best-ww2-strategic"-game on steam. No problem on Win10. The problem seems to be solved. Load and install the Batus-Mod 2.3 and you will have one of the best ww2-games

Brilliant, re living my childhood with this game, truly an epic RTS game with a huge scale. shows its age nowadays but is still a ton of fun to play and a great throwback, and works fine on my computer with windows 10 so dont know why people are having issues. Highly recommended!
