A terrible RPG maker game. Good luck getting anything done in this game as it keeps throwing you into fights that are next to impossible for you to win from the very beginning. And this is not an issue of being bad at the game, it is an issue of the game obviously being horribly designed. Amaterasu Software always fails at making high quality games... not even medium quality... At lowest cost possible, they throw couple trash games each month or so. Story is pretty unclear - because they tend to throw about 7 characters from the very beginning... . And there are typos, of course. False Shelter suffers from many poor design choices. Among these is the poor balancing of enemies leaving players subject to total party kills in the first battle of the game. If players want to go and level up before that battle, the local base enemies can also wipe a party out. Not to mention healing items from the inventory cannot be used outside of battle. --- It took me 4 hours to complete the game. 3,5h for the boring grind, without which it is impossible to finish this lousy title. The rest of the time was spent going to the healer and between locations (author has disabled sprint). --- The game has an embarrassingly small number of locations. There's only an abandoned mansion, its entrance, and three small wooded areas around it. --- Battles are long and tedious....

The game is very buggy and glitchy. It crashed during the intro so I tried again. Then it crashed during the first encounter. I tried again. I got my ass handed to me by the first enemies and then it crashed again. There's also a massive amount of dialogue during the intro which is super unnecessary and poorly worded. TLDR: don't waste your money.

The only thing this game has going for it are the interesting visuals. The game itself is just very bad. From the start it throws you into unwinnable fights, and this isn't a skill issue, it's just horribly unbalanced. Damn, I seem to be deceived, lol. When I bought this game, I only saw the positive reviews without noticing that the positive reviews were probably a gift from friends XD lucky this game has a trading card, so I don't feel like I'm losing too much Still, if you read the positive reviews on this game, everything looks ridiculous!
