It is a solid game, don’t get me wrong, but it definitely needs some work. I would not buy this game unless it is on sale or something. For the price they are asking ($20 for the regular edition and $70 for the Ultimate Edition), I just don’t feel like there is enough to do to justify buying the game at those prices. Another thing I would like to bring up is the fact that this game can be REALLY glitchy sometimes....

This game has such a potential to be a creative interesting game to play out of all other Naruto games. Too bad it has too many gamepasses and the mission's stay the same. Also, if it was leaned to be more accurate to the show itself, it whouldve definetly attracted more folks. The real reason it isn't reccomendable is due to the amount of content that is locked behind a DLC. Such as different jutsu and characters....

In terms of art style, animation, sound and controls, it's an absolute banger. The customisation is extensive and it's fun to morph different character's looks and movesets together. However, the game is full of jank, infinite stunlocks, hackers and pay to win abilities. P2P for online multiplayer in 2026 is like pulling the pin on a grenade and forgetting to throw it. update : the fact that cheaters spamming ultimate is not being banned make this game environment worse lol

If you're looking for a fun Naruto game just to play with friends, this is not the game. Unfortunately a game that came out in 2018 has no way to setup a private lobby. So if you're trying to pick it up now and play with friends, good luck. Random players can match with you most of them being high level players.
