War Robots VR — Kickstarter campaign is live!

2017-11-14

In 2017, we decided to try our hand at something new and give our players a chance to experience what it's like to actually sit in the cockpit of a giant robot (the size of a tall building!). We’ve released a short PC VR singleplayer experience under the name War Robots VR: The Skirmish. Now, thanks to the participation and positive feedback from this great community, we've decided to go for it! All we need is your support. Let's make this thing real — support the project! We're not stopping on that for sure. Tons of new details are coming very soon, so be sure to follow the campaign updates!

A short promo game with wasted potential This is a game to promote the game War Robots. This VR game could have had so much potential, but sadly it is a short mission that I completed within minutes. Give it a try but do not expect much 😊.

I gave a negative review for Archangel some days ago, despite being an highly spectacular VR game (with a serious budget behind) the gameplay was basic and flat, with small enemies, no robot-vs-robot fighting and almost zero freedom. Very curious than War Robots VR: The Skirmish, being a free demo and with an evident lower budget, without motion controller support, is instead an a wonderful mech game than is just on...

This is actually just an advertisement for a mobile game. The voice acting is great though.

Bloody hell that is one hell of a demo. Pity it isn't offered as a full game on PC, not sure why they'd make a PC demo for an IOS/Android game. Hopefully they bring it over as this is one of the best VR exclusives I've seen so far. If only Archangel were half as good as this.
