Hitman: Codename 47

This game didn't seem to have aged well that much, like yeah, I get it... it's the first Hitman game of the franchise, and is the foundation of what would eventually lead to one of the best stealth games in video game history. Game has good moments, but it has aged incredibly poorly. I only enjoy maybe 3-4 levels in the entire game. The rest of the game is such a slog it's insane.

It has a certain charm to it but it doesn't overwhelm the early 2000s euro jank. Almost every mechanic breaks frequently, the controls are insane, and the game needs mods to make it playable on modern systems. The game doesn't give you much direction or indication on how levels are intended to be completed so there's a lot of trial and error in figuring them out. This is a horrible port. I got it with all the other games for like 10 bucks, if i had bought this for anything more than 2 cents i would be pissed. ♥♥♥♥ doesnt even work well on pc IF it even works.

Wow, Before playing this through blind all i had heard about these games were that they were kind of a nightmare due to difficulty, and boy... were they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right these old school games never hold your hand but anyway, I Really Liked my time with this game even if i was screaming and pulling out my hair to the point id be mistaken for 47s twin, the things i ADORE about this game are simply the Music and Visuals...

Just no. You're not different. You will not be able to get past the jankiness I promise you. But if you do, I admire the dedication. I watched a full gameplay on youtube and honestly, even story wise not much is missed in my personal opinion. But I'm sure this was a great game to play back in the day
