Two and a half years after quitting Visceral, and a bunch of hard work later, A Case of Distrust is finally available for purchase. I've been shaking uncontrollably all morning. This has been my dream. Thanks for joining me on this journey!

Stylistically gorgeous and as someone with two amber eyed cats I was delighted. Really enjoyable short mystery! I do have to emphasise how short it is though so keep that in mind with the price as there's no replayability. I got it on a heavy discount so I'm satisfied. Really hope there'll be a sequel as it's teased at the end.

a fun noir story. it wasn't a long story but i enjoyed it. i really dug the art style. despite being simple it has depth.

Quit pretty quickly because it's dialogue driven and the dialogue immediately annoyed me

A low-pace, ease-you-into-gaming level of simplicity, combines with a unique art style to bring you into the 1920's, to click through a short private investigation. The achievements are a checklist of the game content, and it can be completed in about 2-4 hours. Click everything and use all your clues on everyone to see how they react. Might require a second playthough if you miss some clues early on. Pretty standard...

A short and stylish detective adventure. This game offers strong dialogue and well-written characters. The artstyle is very uniqe and fitting, but I wish the music was used in a more interesting way. The investigation mechanics are pretty interesting and I wish there were even more ways to use the information you gather. Worth it on sale for the music alone, but it is fairly short and not keen on offering much in the way of guidance. Shame it got a small cliffhanger that never went nowhere, as the developer disappeared... Really can't recommend it at full price, for that money I bought The Walking Dead Definitive Edition + Mass Effect Legendary Edition for almost 200 hours of narrative gold.

The game was fine, but pretty boring and very little of the choose your own adventure it is tagged as. $14.99 is way too much. $4.99 would probably be fine, but even then I don't know. I isn't bad, the transitions are cool, but it just didn't feel worth the time or money.
