A true masterpiece of that time, they did a great job: throwing out unfun parts of Cyberia and improving what was really fun: FMV-shooting. I think FMV-graphics got much better.
There's now no separate difficulties for action and puzzle parts and we can't use scanners manually.

This is one of my favourites all time futuristic games ever. It's nice to play Cyberia 2/Cyberia again. I always recommend.

Cyberia 2: Resurrection was released in 1995, continuing the plot of its predecessor. Xatrix Entertainment tried to polish the flaws of the original game, but as I see it, it just made it all worse.
Graphics became slightly better, and an attempt was made to fuel the story with more characters, broader dialogues, and more frequent and longer cut-scenes. Unfortunately, it made a great disservice to the game, because...

Never got to play the sequel in the 90's, so I got it now. Ultimately disappointed though for several reasons:
• There are single-scene puzzles and rail-shooter type action sequences, very little of the "walk around and look for stuff" gameplay from Cyberia 1.
• The VR-style filesystem/directory navigation was very confusing; I didn't even realize what it was or what I should be doing first. I guess some people...
