Break the Game

This is a fun little platformer, and after barely an hour of playing, I felt that I had to leave a review for it. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from it, but it has blown me away so far. This is a weird one for me. I've been waiting for Break The Game for some time now as I'm pretty sure it's been sitting in my wishlist for roughly a year now? I wanted to love this game. For the first few levels, it had a World of Goo vibe that I adore. And I love a good puzzle game. The songs are fantastic, all the way through. But the dialogue "cut scenes"... Oh Lord, the cut scenes. So many interruptions. So much loss of momentum. This game has been on my wishlist for a while and I brought pretty much as soon as it came out. I didn't really know what to expect from it so I went in fairly open minded. I think a lot of the reviews here are a bit harsh given that the production team that made this game is one person.
