Starfighter Neon v1.4 brings: • A brand new control scheme (turn and go!) as suggested by the community. Why not give it a try? Discover which of the different styles works best for you. • The mode select screen has been tidied up a little bit too, as it was getting unwieldy with too many options. • And as always, a selection of bug fixes and tweaks.

Simple, fun little 1980's style space shooter. with a tidy menu and graphics. You zip around the screen Asteroids style, shooting enemies, dodging bullets, and collecting temporary upgrades and coins to unlock different ships. Good for a few minutes, don't spend more than half a buck on it though.

Starfighter Neon is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of games such Asteroids/"SpaceWar!" (Copyright Atari/Steve Russell respectively, 1980/1962 respectively). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. At this stage no legal action has been taken by Atari/Steve...
