Pretty good VR video viewer, and it runs pretty well on Linux. However, unless you're a serial gooner who is addicted to jerking off to MDVR content of busty Japanese woman, this software probably won't serve much use to you, especially with the ads in the browser. Nobody's gonna believe me, but I actually like this software for watching movies, and 360 content that isn't heterosexual porn.

EDIT: It doesn't work with websites, including YouTube. I'm having issues with a lot of 360-degree videos and videos above 1080p, which is allegedly because it doesn't have an HVEC decoder. You can get one from the Windows Store if you have Win10+, which I don't, so I can't verify that'll work. --- All the reviews keep talking about how great this is for adult content and yeah I guess that's a thing but personally...

Has been broken for over a year with no sign of it being fixed; constantly just loading or freezing or crashing - even on their own page. It certainly no longer supports YouTube - local files play just as badly.

It's a pretty basic interface but works well and is great for free. I follow some NASA & Space pages on social media and jumping into the middle of the Mars Rovers 360° weekly shots is amazing! There's an awesome 360° video Northern Lights page on FB also that is incredible and worth every minute you'll spend in this app if you're into astronomy and space. Realy good video player for VR headset with the ability to play videos from web-services and local disk drive as well. I like how it automatically recognize the type of my 3D videos and plays it in the correct mode. Built-in web browser in VR is a cool idea and implementation. There isn't a way to control UI with motion controllers. I'm using Virtual Desktop, and basically to click things I need to use gaze. Meaning you look at buttons to press, and that's inconvenient. There's a menu for "choice of controls", but it offers keyboard/mouse, gamepad or oculus remote. And not "motion controllers". Best VR viewer keeps getting better. Have to take back my thumbs up. This used to be THE player to use but each of the current iteration and design changes seems to be making it worse. It's like somebody new is messing it up because they had no idea why it was great or how it was used. - Short cuts/Favs are broken still as of 1.1.3. Poor MP4 support and 2k resolution limit for online sources make it inferior to Deo VR or Playa. On the plus side it has an indirect integration with Youtube, but aforementioned resolution limit renders it pointless, since 360 videos look awful in 2k

Light on features but it's the only free player that immediately and correctly loaded stereoscopic 3d videos without any hassle. It's kind of goofy and I wish the interface would have some additional options during playback but ultimately it's the only free player I found to work correctly without any bulls**t.
