Lake of Voices It’s a decent Free Visual Novel, that being said I wasn’t personally hooked by the story. I still decided to try every single routes + Bonus, some paths are better than others. Pretty impressive VN for being free. I'm not sure I would call it a "horror". It has a bit of a creepy atmosphere and can be a bit creepy at times but overall I wasn't particularly phased. The writing is mostly good. Each individual run is fairly short but there's a lot of branching paths. As I continue to play this game I got realll hooked into the story, the stakes, it was so interesting Although I feel accomplished managing to save Bel and Margaret. Wonder if I would learn more about the mystery surrounding the Guide but that's for another time

Only played Bemele's route, avoiding the guide, but this game is so heart wrenching to play. I will say its extremely difficult in my opinion to escape, but I was invested every single second of it.
