• Bugfix: When running in developer mode, mods that add new ship classes would crash the game during loading with a "cannot be used in the demo" error. (This bug was introduced in yesterday's 0.30.4b hotfix.)

Very few meaty feature updates in the last 18mo with the bulk being balancing and bug fixing. Not technically abandoned but development happening at a glacial pace.

I love this game, its FTL but casual, so why the negative review, honestly, its lacking something, its misssing that "something" that makes a game really great and shine, possibly more interaction with the fations? taking over zones and setting up trading outposts would be cool, idk, its missing something and with the pase of devolplor FOR NOW, I dont recommend it to new players, play the demo if you must play it.

Very good game! Gameplay loop is not TOO repetitive (devs are planning to add more features, go check out their roadmap). Have tried this on my other, older PC (5th gen i5 U-model, 8GB DDR3, 128MB "GPU")and runs nearly as well, mods are extremely compatible.

I like building pretty things. I didn't know I'd like building optimised things, but every time I'd make something in creative mode to test it against a past creation, I'd feel a rush as it'd win. the positives: + great balance: balancing crew, heat, cost and energy is a blast, but is simple ennough that effective ships can be made easilly. + because of said simplicity, your builds can vary, and the "command" type of...

No major content updates in 18mo besides bugfixes and balancing. Dev's are supposedly working hard on a rework of some sort but only communicate their progress on other sites, according to the Discussions tab, leaving steam users lacking answers to what's happening with this game's development. Bought this game many years ago. Just fired it up after 2.5 years. Absolutely unacceptable development time. What a complete waste of a potential. Do not buy this game. In fact, looking at the last update, this game could be abandoned. The can't even get basic collision logic right in this game. Destroyed by first ship looted and was about to sell and an AI ship just derped right into me. So easy to avoid hitting me...
