Oh Art of Murder, you have disappointed me so. Even my immense love for Nicole (she makes me laugh, okay?) could not save this game. While an improvement from the first game in some ways - better animation, the voice acting gets an upgrade (though it's still hilarious and stiff as the genre dictates), and some of the controls are better - overall it's just simply not good. Game wont launch. freezes up when I try to open. It changes my graphics to very updated settings and my 3070 will just lock it out.

Well, somehow that part didn't quite convince me; it was rather mediocre, and the sound just cut out every now and then... I can just barely recommend it.

I've played the Art of Murder games back when they were released, so this was mostly a purchase based on nostalgia. But I like the Point'n'Click Adventure genre, even though the story in this one is a bit basic, it's good for a relaxing evening :)

if there is one word to discribe this game and it's predecessor it's annoying. amost everything needs to be done in a specific order, where items cannot be picked up until you find out you need them. a good example of why this is infuriating is about halfway where you need to fix a tire.i know it needs a patch and i happen to have seen a rubber patch in an area in the game high up. so i use various long pole like...

Recommended. This was just challenging enough for me that I was able to keep moving forward staying challenged not getting bored, until I got to the slider puzzel. I hate slider puzzles. This one is a 16 square slider with the correct picture right next to the puzzle but I have not been able to complete it. Thumbs down! This game is the second in the Art of Murder series. It’s not much different from the first game. It’s another disappointing point and click adventure game with really weird moon logic and timed puzzles, but without an instant travel map or even a regular map. There’s also a sliding puzzle, but that didn’t bother me as much as the timed puzzles did.

When you write a story, you need to have some idea of what you want the story beats to be. You also, kind of need to be a good writer. This game has a bad writer, one that probably didn’t get through college. Huge improvement over the previous game. Better interface design. Puzzles are less convoluted, or at least more obvious. The voice acting is much better, specifically in regards to Nicole. I want to say yes play this game, especially if you are a fan of point and click mystery games such as Nancy Drew.
