When you jump, it's either straight up or in a fix-angled arc in one direction. You can not change your midair positioning. Despite what all the positive reviews insist, I'm still not convinced that this movement style works and is my main critique with the game. A love-letter to Castlevania. Great leveldesign, characters are all unique and play differently from each other, the pixelart is gorgeous and the soundtrack is a banger. I just wish it was a bit longer, and had a higher difficulty, especially for the very simple bossfights.

This game is a total rip-off of Castlevania. Yes, I know, it's a "homage", but it is so similar that it is too similar and somehow not as good as most Castlevania games. Love letter to Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse, and it's not even subtle: choosing how to proceed within a stage, having multiple main characters and even the backward jump when being hit! It's not an especially hard title, but it's got a lot of charm. Miriam is my beloved honorary belmont.

A clone of the great Castlevania. Gorgeous sound, pixelated graphics and gloomy atmosphere. The game has been hardcore for a long time and is quite difficult at times. But it's definitely worth watching, especially for fans of Castlevania and old-school platformers.

A game that definitely does a great job in paying homage to castlevania while doing its own thing, fun and challenging levels? Check. Four amazing characters with their own playstyles? Check. A bopping OST? Check. If you are a fan of og castlevania styles fun you might enjoy this a lot. I can definitely recommend this game easily to platformer enjoyers
