Not bad. Nice whodunnit with free exploration, nice graphics and sound, a degree of immersion and an interesting story. The only problem I had was the evidence-linking part. For 2-3 of the questions it seemed that there were multiple items that could satisfy the criteria. Hard to tell which ones were supposed to be the right answers. I wish steam had a "neutral" option for reviews. I didn't like it, but for a free game, I didn't necessarily dislike it either. The soundtrack is good, the graphics are beautiful, the voice acting is just bearable. The story was just average, to me it seemed too cliche' and very lacklustre. Not all that much of a scorcher...just lukewarm. Scorch is a walking simulator where you act as a detective to figure out what happened after a murder took place. Basically, you walk around and pick up evidence and point the finger...but it doesn't matter since the game reveals the answer regardless when you fill in the blanks. Meh, 5/ 10. Yes it is free and also interesting. The movement is painfully slow and the voice acting is kind of bad. Also spelling in their dialogue irked me a little. But hey at least the story was somewhat interesting, and how you compile evidence.
