Cavesweeper is a weird combination logic puzzle / RPG battle game that hits this weird sweet spot in my brain. The logic puzzle is exactly the sort of Minesweeper-like constraint-solving mechanic that I can just sit and play with endlessly. It's a minesweeper game that runs at a super low resolution and gets old after your first run. It looks like it took less than a week to make. It won't stay on your hard-drive longer than 30 minutes.

stylistically very cool but the actual gameplay is too reliant on RNG. the brief moments where you can actually apply logic are lovely and you can very clearly see something special here that would eventually be evolved in tess elated and jubilane. would love to see a sequel to this that fixes up the RNG stuff tbh

I've played the mobile version of this game before and this version is every bit as good! The game itself is a twist on the minesweeper concept. The number and color of a tile on the grid gives you an indication of the color of the adjacent tiles and it is your job to figure them out correctly. Once you start, you will not be able to stop - the gameplay is addictive AF. Great artwork, scintillating music, fun decisions to make. I get a huge dopmaine rush when the coin toss event happens. If you aren't playing the PC version of Cavesweeper, you are missing out *BIG* time.

I played this game a TON on mobile. A minesweeper/dungeon-crawler makes for a brilliantly addictive combo. It's well worth the $3 asking price.
