- Too expensive for a mediocore game that won't take long to get boring

Best deckbuilding card game I have ever played.

Simplistic presentation but some good ideas here.

only suggestion is to use hotkeys. As a paraplegic, I use voice activated software and this game would be 77% better if I could just say enter or escape etc.

I need to expand on this now that i've played the game a bit more, if you played Slay the Spire imagine the following: Gold is in your deck and is clogging it up as you go, there's no arbitrary gold counter somewhere, it's all in your deck. The more gold you take the less strong your deck is. After every act you have to decide wether you keep the rewards and abandon the run (gold) or keep going. With that gold you...

Fate Hunters left early access today: I bought this game on early access while looking for more RPG strategy card games after playing multiple hours of Slay the Spire, a big inspiration for the game I assume. Fate Hunters evolved and developed at a very good pace since I first played months ago. We've seen some great balance for cards, monsters, health and rewards. Making one playthrough more fair overall. Leaving...

Would not have purchased this if I had known that the developers are no longer working on it. The game is fun for the first few hours but lacks the progression or balancing which made Slay the Spire such a hit. I think the art is great but it is the only thing about this game that stands out.

In the end more addictive than fun. The basic mechanics will be familiar to anyone who has played a deck building game.. kinda like dominion where you build the deck as you go. You start with your starter deck, enter a tower where you get more cards, and continue until you either give up or die. In theory each run is different, your crafty strategy makes a difference, and it matters if you leave or die... but in...

As someone with over 700 hours into STS (I know, I know, no life....), I bought this on winter sale for something different. Those players who are looking for a new STS won't find it here, and that's a good thing because no game is like it. This is different. It's a whole new challenge, tactical and logical in a way STS sometimes is not, and that's appealing to me. There are most definitely "right" and "wrong" ways...
