I was amazed by the sense of scale in this game when I was younger, still holds up pretty well tbh.

TLDR; Neat in moderation, MP is offline though. Pretty okay game at most. The sound design is its absolute biggest strength, and if you just watch a video, you will understand. Sadly, it does not come close to the action of competing FPS games at the time of release (CoD4, WaW, Bad Company 1, Crysis, Far Cry 2) in either campaign or its somewhat dull campaign. Despite some decent visuals for 2008 as well, it lacks...

I knew that KAOS made Homefront 2011, but what I didn't know was that they made something else before it, and I found out that Frontlines Fuel of War is that game. I decided to give it a shot and was honestly pretty surprised by what a studio other than DICE and EA could deliver back when this game came out. Yeah, this game takes huge inspiration from Battlefield and it even had its own Multiplayer, but that died...

I mean for intents and purposes this is just Battlefield Bad Company from Temu and Drones, but personally as the gameplay goes it does it fairly well. It has destructible environments as a key element and a overall control scheme that works fairly well. However at the current price of $20 it is a hard pass as the Campaign lasts only about 4 hours in total and the multiplayer scene is basically dead, so I really...

I beat the game on hardcore so ymmv. Ai is robotic, tracks you through walls, operates with instant reaction time and perfect aim. They have higher accuracy than you do. Team ai is unable to support you in any meaningful way or even kill simple enemies, often failing to simply show up. This leaves me running around large battlefields, being the whole damn platoon. There is no effort to get the player invested,...

Frontlines: Fuel of War is a large-scale military first-person shooter developed by Kaos Studios and published by THQ. Released during a period crowded with modern warfare shooters, the game sought to separate itself from competitors through its ambitious depiction of a near-future global conflict driven by dwindling energy resources. Rather than focusing solely on traditional military rivalries, the game imagines a...
