I really wanted the Garshasp series to be a lot of fun and good. Sadly it turned out to be a huge letdown. I wouldnt even suggest getting and playing this gave if it was on a 100% discount. "The saddest thing in life is wasted talent, and the choices that you make will shape your life forever."

When the Persian superhero Garshasp appeared on screen, old memories of the Soul Reaver came alive in front of me. The graphics, the movements were also familiar, just i used dead monsters to upgrade my weapon, instead of healing myself. The fighting system is not too varied, and not bugless, but easy to use. At the end of the day I wish I could recommend Garshasp: The Monster Slayer but there are just too many things that stop me from doing so. This is by far the shortest game I've ever played. The whole game is under 2 hours and that is with cutscenes and the credits. I noticed it was made by a rather small team and I do applaud them for finishing this game. The visuals are poorly made, especially for a game in 2011....

Garshasp is a hero from a famous Persian myth. Always being interested in Persia, and the plight of their people, I had to give this a try. It was actually bundled with a fast, mindless joy. And plenty challenging. Pick it up and give it a whirl. You'll have a blast. And definitely, take you back to the times when you used to enjoy that acrobatics of Prince of Persia.
