New intro, exclusive merchandise, and a sneak peek at the content update.
2026-07-24Hi, fellow gamers, You've been left in the dark for too long, now I'm bringing you back into the light. Even if it's just a small spotlight, before we explore the new areas and set out on a hunt for achievements. Let's get right to the news. New Intro: I've always wanted to create a really cool logo video, but when I tried using regular video editing software, the result was just okay, but not perfect. Thanks to the Unreal Engine, I was able to create a beautiful new logo and intro video that now appears before the game starts, of course you can skip it by pressing ESC. New Website: JWGames.eu A new website has been launched JWGames.eu and will now provide you with: • News about Yukina's Diary and upcoming projects. For example, Yukina's Diary Darwin's Journey: a DLC that picks up the story of Darwin in the Royal Guard.

• Exclusive Merch: To honor the outstanding artist who brought Yukina, Darwin, and Zura to life so beautifully, I've decided to produce some merchandise which you'll find exclusively on this site. The website can now be accessed directly from the title screen. Information about achievements and the upcoming content update: (why it's still taking a while) So that the attention isn't focused entirely on the new video and the website, you can now continue exploring the world map. In front of the new areas standing friendly guards who won't let you in. However, they’ll give you valuable information about what to expect there if you ask them, but for players who don’t want to listen and just want to sneak past them, they should be prepared for the nice attack: Come back soon! In the upcoming content update: Yukina will write diary notes in a small book. (Achievements) In the new “Yukina's Diary Notes” interface, Yukina meticulously records everything she has experienced in the world so that she can use these notes to write *Yukina's Diary* at the end of the game. Currently, over 120 notes (achievements) are in development. Each individual note (achievement) comes with a matching text and its own artwork. Since Yukina's Diary is available in two languages, that means a huge amount of design work for me behind the scenes: I have to design a total of 480 texts and artwork for both Steam and the new interface (because Steam uses a different image format than the interface). I'll keep working hard for you all, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience and your amazing support! Your developer from JWGames
