1.2.1 release

This update has two main features, along with some fixes. First, it makes it ready for the upcoming donator DLC which is here for the ones who wants to show their appreciation for the game. :) Second, a glitch within steam made the achievements not working anymore. Sadly the problem isn't corrected at the time. But while waiting for a fix, an achievements menu has been added. This will let you see the achievements you unlocked in game. To activate the menu, just finish the game once with any route. (note that it doesn't sync with your steam achievements) It is suggested you delete your previously saved game to make this feature work. To do this, delete the following folder: - Windows: %APPDATA%/RenPy/kwk - Mac OS: ~/Library/RenPy/kwk - Linux: ~/.renpy/kwk

I remember when I was in middle school, I played the beta version for the first time. The Kare Wa Kanojo I remembered was wildly different then the version of today. I feel very nostalgic playing through this now after many years since then. Despite its flaws, it has become a childhood relic of mine.

Man, I don't like leaving negative reviews, but... This game very much appears to be transphobic. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt at first, it is indeed set in 1997 so some element of it in the protagonist's response after the character comes out was likely inevitable, but the combination of the sugary sweet "I'm going to accept you for who you are! Love is love!" approach the protag and her friends go...
