When you try to capture video in mp4 file format and h.264 codec after about 40 minutes, it says that the place has run out and asks to delete and clean up some temporary files. Because of this, it is not possible to finish the digitization of the video cassette. The process runs fine only when you select the mpeg2 codec and the mpg file format. And this moment upsets.

Been using Power director for almost a decade and from the sale I finally upgraded to this version 18 from 15 and it's a lot snappier and smoother. Always been my favorite easy to use video editing software that does the job and more for everything I do. CHEAH !

I wanted to upgrade from Final Cut Express, an old program on Mac. But FCE does just about everything way better than PowerDIrector 18 Ultimate other than the time to render the final product. PD bogs down VERY easily (on a PC that's overkill for my projects), cannot sync additional audio with video clips (drop frame timecode) unlike FCE and other programs. Checked every forum and Reddit but no help, seems that...

As someone who's been using power director 15 since 2017, I gotta say I totally love this upgrade! The new logo looks cool and the overall performance is much smoother, I don't know if it's because I had the physical copy or what but this version is exactly what I need right now. It doesn't use alot of firepower either. Power director has always been a good alternative to premiere pro and then there is da Vinci...
