Its pretty scary but eventually you know the layout of the map so well that you wont ever die. Its quite fun honestly, Especially with the good ending where instead of being chased you yourself go looking for aka manto instead.

AMAZING, I played this game a bit ago and I love it, reminds me of coryxkenshin vids, super fun, long, replay able, and god it's scary, coming from someone whos played over 50 horror games

The game keeps spawning the monster on top of me over and over, which is really annoying. Play if you like ♥♥♥♥♥♥ VHS horror games, other than that its just another find my 8 pages kinda game.

this was a step down from the other games for me in terms of how much i enjoyed it. you can notice how much more work went into it compared to the earlier walking sim games since there's more content, more mechanics and more stuff going on. but more doesn't always mean more fun. aka manto is kind of like granny and other similar escape-type games where you're running around a map collecting items, backtracking...

I don’t think Aka Manto is necessarily a bad game, but it’s probably just not my type of horror. I found it confusing and more frustrating than scary, and I never really felt motivated to learn the map or keep trying after dying. It seems like the kind of game that rewards patience and multiple attempts, but with so many other games waiting to be played, I simply didn’t feel like putting that much time into...

I watched a playthrough of this game when it came out but never played it myself. I've been doing runs regularly and honestly this is one of the most stressfull games I've ever played and I havent even finished it yet. It's very difficult due to the one life mechanic. Im just at the age where I drop games if they frustrate me or are no fun. Unfortunately that is the case for Aka Manto aswell. I love the graphics but difficulty level of dying and having to restart from scratch is a no go. I ended up watching the playthrough on youtube and found it fascinating.
