This game is beautiful, vibrant and - if I'm being honest here - is incredibly impressive. However, it falls short really quickly. There is no sense of direction in the game. At the moment, I'm stuck in a room, surrounded by darkness, not having any clue as to what to do. The other reviewers (who got the game for free) don't mention this, as they only played so far. I'll start with the good and get to the bad later. First off this game is really beautiful for its style, certain areas really stand out and show how great the art direction was for this game, an example of how great the art in this game are is in the final area The long walkway leading up to the core with the beating heart in the middle looked so well that i would want to recommend this game alone because of that....

Interesting 2d indie-horror game in a dystopian universe. Beautifull pixel-look. Good story. Permadeath system, i am not sure, if that is a good idea. Some button-mashing sections, which i do not like. But for the ones who have no problem with that, it is definitely a good buy for the price. Gameplay video: https://youtu.be/IPuAyL8LpRc

I thought it would be fun to play on my YouTube channel, but I ended up dying and getting stuck in what seemed like an endless loop with no way to progress anymore. Most of my 3 hours of gameplay was spent in denial of the fact that I was softlocked. If it wasn't for that really annoying bug/feature/whatever happened to me, I could still recommend the game but it definitely wasn't something I'd pay for.
