PS: CTG Major update - the game to become free, changes to mechanics.
2020-06-18We have decided to make the game free. We made such a decision based on feedback and data we accumulated. We hope that you will continue to help us make the game better. Everyone who has bought PS CTG prior will definitely receive all the indicated bonuses after the release. Main innovations We have made changes to the mechanics of player’s turn: The player can act now only if he has energy to do so. Players can put new units on the table by spending energy in accordance with the unit's price. Player can attack or move units that are already on the board spending 1 energy per action; Putting the unit on the board is a separate action now, after it you can’t attack or move, but after the completion of the move the unit will use its support abilities if it has any; We have reduced attack / defense types from these nine: • Injury, Bleeding, Wound; • Sickness, Necrosis, Poisoning;

• Shock, Frostbite, Burn. To these three types: • Physical; • Chemical; • Energy We have redistributed types of attack, defense and support between tokens to enhance factional identity of the units. We have also made changes to the characteristics of some of the tokens to balance the other changes out. We have changed the positional conditions for triggering the support of Block By Shield and Protect By Shield abilities: • Block By Shield - need to be sufficiently close only to the attacker. • Protect By Shield - to be located next to both the attacker and the defender. A new type of support ability called “aura” have been introduced - changing the types of attack or defense from neighboring enemy or friendly tokens to the one specified in the description. With the simultaneous action of several auras on one token, their sequence of application is determined by the order of their entries onto the playing field. We have added highlighting of units with which the supporting abilities of the chosen unit can interact. We have added the ability to choose your player color before the beginning of the match. We have added an interactive tutorial to the game, which, we hope, will slightly lower the entry level threshold for the new players ;) The new version is already being tested in the Beta branch and soon we will make this update avaliable to everyone.
