Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises is an entertaining hidden-object mystery with a surprisingly engaging story. The investigation gives you a good reason to explore each location, while the puzzles and hidden-object scenes provide a nice change of pace. It's not particularly difficult, but the atmosphere and mystery kept me interested enough to see what would happen next. Enjoy :)

This is the best AM HO game so far. More variety and detail. No push key through lock to land on newspaper sequence. HOGs were varied and enjoyable. Great quality. Small Con: The big green flag on the map was a bit counter intuitive for going to available actions. This game was different. Some confusion. Sliding puzzle was quite the endeavor.

Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises is a really well developed Hidden Object Game with an engaging story. The puzzles and hidden object scenes struck a nice balance between relaxing and challenging. Loved this one.

Art is good and voice acting is alright. Story was entertaining enough though I did not alway scare for the evidence board. The game also has one major con: The fight "puzzles". They feel out of place and are confusing. (You basically have to help your opponent beat you up in order to be able to win.)
