Its full of bugs but I'm surprised this game got localization patches in 2024. It's basically a retail total conversion mod for Men of War. Its innately kind of novel for being about the Soviet-Afghan War which almost never gets representation in media outside of Russia. This game also has a memorial tab dedicated to real soviet soldiers so I guess that sums up the politics of this game. Its also an adaptation of a...

Once I got over the camera issues and slow start, this was one of the best RTS campaigns I ever played. Before each mission, the game lists all the men you've gotten killed so far in the campaign, with respective name, skills and medals.
