Version 1.3 | Controller Support, Settings Menu, Steam Deck Compatability

It's been a while. There Was the Moon came out in 2020, and I've left it largely untouched since. But I've been listening to what players have said, and that turned into an update. It's now live. What's in 1.3 The headline addition is full controller support, including Steam Deck compatibility, part of an ongoing effort toward Steam Deck certification. Beyond that, a few things that have been on my list: • The ability to run (hold shift, or left trigger on your controller) • A settings menu with look sensitivity controls • Various bug fixes The price is changing A recurring theme in reviews has been that $9.99 felt a little high for the length of the experience. I enjoyed this. It's an atmospheric walking sim with some puzzles. I didn't really understand the story, but worth it for the cool atmosphere, visuals and vibe. Reminded me of mood of old game called Kairo. Seemed to have elements inspired by hallucinogenic experience/trip descriptions. Note: I had to use Nvidia Control Center to limit framerate, otherwise fans roared, but ran fine after that.

Honestly, this isn't nearly as good as most people said on this page. Sure the concept is pretty interesting and the exploration can be enjoyable, but I was quite let down by it overall. The story is very simple and vague which could be fine considering the design of it, but when areas just feel like they were there to show cool visuals it makes them less interesting.
