Each car can be tweaked mechanically and aesthetically with all sorts of body kits, wheels, engines, exhaust systems, and such, all of which can be bought and placed on your car.

By today's standards, the game is crap - there's no doubt about it. However, back when it came out, it was a good, budget-friendly alternative to NFS Underground. RPM Tuning / Midnight Outlaw: 6 Hours to SunUp offers extensive options for customizing and tuning cars.
