Hero or Villain: Battle Royale

I liked the first one of this series, but not so much this one. One, you are a slave, and don't have much say in the matter, which is a really rather tired trope. Two, your friends can die randomly. So can your romantic partners. Additionally, your romantic partners from the first don't carry over, barring one notable exception. There doesn't seem to be any easy way around this; one is just expected to deal with it....

This is probably the worst one yet. The first book has a lot of flaws but it still had an intersting premise so I enjoyed replaying it a couple of times. I'm genuinely angry I played this pile of crap and I subsequently decided to get a refund for my $5. Not because I need it but because I don't want the author to have it. The story isn't interesting (standard alien-themed battle royale setting), the choices are mostly non-existent (your experience is on rails for at least 90% of the game), the new characters aren't interesting, there is only one character held over...
