I'm a big sucker for games that have to deal with the dystopian nature, and the initial premise+themes was really intriguing. For context, I've 100% Papers Please, and it was one of the first games I'd ever played in like, my life, so I hold it close to my heart. In practice though, the game falls apart for me, and I refunded it after about 30 minutes. I bought it at a discount of ~$3, and even then... It's not a...

Long story short, it has great potential, but for me the time management aspect of this game complete ruins the experience... Also, some of the mechanics are too confusing and depends on you knowing beforehand how the game wants you to respond, so it's frustrating to be penalized for those.

Purchased at a deep discount ($2.54) At this price, I recommend. However for full $17 I would not. The base gameplay is fun, but gets repetitive quickly. The story didn't really grab me like how Paper's Please did but I won't hold that against it
